Hope and Anchor - The Morning After | Thursday, December 29, 2005
Jago Stone played a storming set at the Hope and Anchor last night. This was the first time I had seen new drummer Miles Green in action and I am glad to say he and the boys played a belter of a set. Tracks like Desire Lines, Guess you’re here to stay and the Ballad of Jago Stone literally blew the roof off of the Hope and Anchor. My ear drums took a battering too, the sound in this wicked little venue was amazing and in the best possible way I when I got home I felt like my brain had rubbed onto a cheese grater for half an hour. A quick nod to the other bands on the night, they were all top drawer too, and the Hope and Anchor is a great pub, well worth checking out!
